They’re both interesting swaps, so I’m torn. I think the edge goes to the Jag...

But..
Bavaria. I guess. If I have to.

I’ll take the drop-top Catsnake, please!

Insane. Batshit crazy. You expect me to make a choice? Oh OK.
CatSnake. Fundamentally nucking futs. So yeah that one...

I’ll take the Bavaria, because I’m not a convertible guy.

The BMW. But why isn’t there a more modern BMW straight 6 in there?

Jag....

I love one of the comments on the jag: “I test drove an 84 v12 back in 2003. I’m pretty sure that was running on 10 cylinders as well.”
I just did the blower motor on my e60 which consists of 2-3 hours of hell pulling the dash apart. The most appealing part of that bavaria is the simple vent stack in the middle. Odd how specific jobs will make you catch specific details...

Jag because can we please stop LS swapping everything?

Lol I didn’t see that comment :)
Kudos on finishing the job. I’d either suck it up and not fix it, or pay someone to do it.

Jag all day
A 1989 Jag XJ-S V12 convertible black on black on black was almost my first car

New-to-me car, drove it 3 days then pulled it into the garage to do that plus valve cover gasket. Both ended up being ~8 hours jobs (or will be once I am done). Wife is pissed haha

Holy shit. That is gut wrenching.

The last 3 or 4 jobs I have done on cars were major suspension jobs (which I’ve gotten very good and fast at). Rather do this kind stuff. It is therapeutic for me. I work in consulting so after dealing with fucking people all day, tearing apart a dash is a good release
